CEPIC CONGRESS 2017 IN BERLIN – THE TOP-EVENT IN THE PICTURE INDUSTRY
In 2017, CEPIC will welcome delegates from many countries of the world to the biggest gathering of image professionals, for three intense days of greeting friends and partners around a solid program of seminars and events, in Berlin.
400 delegates from 250 companies and 32 countries will turn the congress venue in the most important networking and information hub for picture agencies.
The CEPIC Congress is attended by CEOs, sales representatives, commercial photographers, videographers, IT industry suppliers, technologist, lawyers and creative minds of the picture industry. Meet them all in one single place, the Maritim proArte Hotel in Berlin, from 15 to 17 June.

ABOUT CEPIC
Since its foundation CEPIC has been standing to defend the interests of picture libraries and agencies and their photographers against unfair business practice. CEPIC’s imperative is a fair marketplace where creators and copyright holders are recognised and proportionally remunerated for their contribution in the “Value Chain”.
Current issues include:
- the establishment of a fair online marketplace
- fixing the value gap (between those that create images and those that solely provide the platforms for viewing and sharing images)
- defense against the framing of images by aggregators who hide behind Safe Harbour provisions to divert the value chain
- supporting the EU copyright reform in the Digital Single Market and making sure that the interests of the image industry are protected
