The photography exhibition shows interior photographs of the Berlin ICC, conceived as an architectural fantasy. The images of Klaus W. Eisenlohr are not rising critical questions, but seek visual and architectural inspiration. The photographs were taken in 2021, during a two-week art event at the Berlin Festival, “The Sun Machine is Coming Down”. Frank Oehring’s original light installation, his guidance system on the second floor, plays a major role, as does the generous spatial arrangement of all floors by architects Ralf Schüler and Ursulina Schüler-Witte. Eisenlohr’s photographs evoke the sense of potentiality of space by means of an architecture that has not lost its fascination in 2022.
