In the Schöneberg project gallery „world in a Room“ photographic compositions by Ebba Dangschat can be seen from September 28th 2019 onwards. The intuitively arranged pairs of pictures, trios and quartets tell stories from the south, while the geographical and temporal location fades into the background.

„The south is a feeling in which time plays no role,“ writes freelance curator Silvia Spacchetti, „In the square, the photographer creates familiar orders of the foreign, composing images that point beyond the moment. Narrations about longing and finiteness unfold in grouped individual images“.

Ebba Dangschat teaches photography at the Photocentrum of the VHS Kreuzberg-Friedrichshain and at the VHS Mitte.
