»Vonovia Award für Fotografie 2022«

Who will convince the jury and make it onto the shortlist for this year’s VONOVIA AWARD FOR PHOTOGRAPHY? And who will receive the coveted award in the end? From April 1st to June 30th, 2022, photographers can submit their photo series on the subject of HOME. The photo competition is aimed at professional and emerging photographers and, with a total of 42,000 euros in prize money, is one of the most valuable photo prizes in Germany. Participation is free of charge.

One facet of the competition is the broad spectrum of photographic approaches with innovative, analogue and digital possibilities of the medium of photography. The three main prizes in the »Best Photo Series« category and the Young Talent Prize for talents under the age of 26 are awarded to the most outstanding photographic works for the year 2022. The selection of the 33 finalists on the shortlist – including the four prize winners – is determined by a top-class jury of experts from the fields of photography , journalism, economics and teaching. The works of the previous award winners have already been presented in well-known institutions such as the Sprengel Museum in Hanover, the Kunstmuseum in Bochum and in other art museums and galleries.
