Bachelor & Master Exhibitions
»From A – B«
University of Applied Sciences Europe, Campus Berlin
As part of this year’s bachelor’s and master’s exhibitions of design courses at the University of Applied Sciences Europe Berlin, a brief overview of the design and concept of the planned evening will be given below.
On July 12, 2019, we invite you to the presentation of certificates and subsequent vernissage of this year’s graduate exhibition of the summer semester 2019.
The ceremony and handing over of the certificates in the Audimax will start at 5 p.m. Due to high expected temperatures, air conditioning and a sufficient water supply will be provided. For this beginning of the evening over 200 guests are calculated, among them families, friends, relatives as well as lecturers and further members of the university.
The official vernissage takes place at 7 p.m. At the same time the catering and the bar are opened.
Conceptually, both the ground floor area of the university, including the studios, will be used for the exhibiting students, as well as the area of the 1st floor. In the latter, seating will also be guaranteed on the terrace, which is why the cafeteria and terrace with catering, bar and the later party will function as a lounge area with ‘chill area’ and dance floor.
We are happy to announce that Son Kitchen has joined us as caterer this year. Small Asian delicacies will be served in the cafeteria. The bar will be run by Kreuzbär, who will take care of an extensive supply of beer, wine, cocktails and of course non-alcoholic drinks, such as keg soda or water.
The vernissage ends with the chime of the bell at 11 p.m. and the upcoming party will be honoured. In order to provide musical accompaniment during the exhibition, the evening will start at 7 p.m. with musical accompaniment.
The following musical line-up can be expected in the current state of planning:
- Semi Kali – Ridiculously Crispy
- Johnny Counce – Corner Records
- special guest
Stylistically we will keep it noble, minimalistic and summery. The colour palette is black, white, silver and accompanied by comfortable bean bags on the terrace, glowing light bulb chains for an atmospheric late summer ambience, as well as silver garlands for an additional touch of festivity.
We are looking forward to an unforgettable evening and an unforgettable summer night.
