Marta Djourina

Djourina’s experiments with the borders of analogue photography
as part of the degree show at UdK Berlin

Synonymous for Marta Djourina’s works are unique camera-less pieces, blind drawings with light and direct exposures with painterly outlook combined with self-made film negatives. Her tools are the photo paper itself and different light sources. As a part of the degree show at the UdK Djourina shows large scale works in which different painted and drawn gestures, and direct exposures made in the complete darkness of the photo lab are juxtaposed.
