Attend the 2016 EyeEm Festival & Awards Afterparty

For those revolutionizing photography, technology and visual communication

Photography community and marketplace EyeEm is hosting the third annual EyeEm Festival & Awards Afterparty to celebrate today’s emerging talents and explore what’s next in photography. The Festival will take place on August 27, 2016 at Heimathafen Neukölln in Berlin, Germany, which is also the home of EyeEm’s headquarters.

Through keynotes, workshops and the EyeEm Awards exhibition and winner celebration, EyeEm is bringing together some of the world’s leading experts in photography, art and technology to inspire you to push your craft in new directions.

The Conference

From Noon to 5 pm, hear from leaders in the industry such as Lars Boering, Managing Director of World Press Photo; Anna Dickson, Photo Lead of Google’s Community Team; and Anthony Holland Parkin, Senior Creative Director of Getty Images, among more on what’s next in photography.

The Grill & Mingle

From 5-7 pm, EyeEm is firing up the BBQ with an ultimate end-of-summer feast. You’ll get the chance to network with speakers, fellow photographers and industry leaders.

The Interactive Sessions + Portfolio Reviews

From 6-8 pm, photographers, curators and editors will share their secrets in masterclasses, open discussions and one-on-one reviews to provide valuable feedback on your work. (With ticket purchase, you can book your review on the morning of the Festival on August 27)

The EyeEm Awards Ceremony + Afterparty

From 8 pm on, be the first to see the finalist exhibition from the 2016 EyeEm Awards, EyeEm’s annual competition to discover new talents. Over 270,000 submissions have been narrowed down by a world renowned jury to 100 finalists. Five category winners and one Photographer of the Year will be announced. Following the ceremony, stick around and dance until late.
