Solo Exhibition & Book Launch
»Rituals«
Gøneja
In his first solo show “Rituals”, Berlin-based photographer Gøneja presents an entirely new portfolio of portraits and nudes, exploring deeply subjective and spiritually-charged thematics relevant to the the individuals photographed, such as: reptile nature, Sufism or Norse mythology. It exhibits also few landscapes of sites that have resonated with the photographer, namely: an abandoned military fortress on the Mediterranean and a megalithic stone circle on the Northern Isles.
Altogether, “Rituals” presents a collection of unique rites for the camera, taking a deep look at some of the artist’s closest friends and collaborators as well as places of interest.
On this occasion the artist will present his second photography book – the comprehensive version of this portfolio as a 104-page, equally-titled, limited edition publication with text.
