POSTCARDS from HOME

What is HOME? where do you feel like HOME and why? How does it feel in your new home? What do you miss? Is there an object that makes you feel HOME? A gesture, a movement, something abstract?

POSTCARDS from HOME is an art community project that brings together local communities, newcomers, immigrants and artists to reflect, create and send a postcard on the idea of HOME.

Each postcard has on one side the picture taken from the participant and on the back side of the postcard the story of the photo, along with the details of the participant, if he/she want to share them.

The postcards are presented in a permanent exhibition on the postcardsfromhome.net website.

You may send the photo, text and location of your home postcard to along with the info that you want to be shown (your name or maybe a link to your website, instagram account etc). 

We accept all languages!

Postcards from home is supported by “START – Create Cultural Change”, a program of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, conducted in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Thessaloniki and the German Association of Sociocultural Centers.
