»AUF SICHTWEITE – Photography between reality and subjectivity«
Maren Baldeweg, Klaus W. Eisenlohr, Elena Giampaoli, Kordula Horn, Winfried König, Monika Lache, Gerald Leitner, Fernanda León, Sebastian Schmidt, Annabell Sievert
The Photocentrum of the Gilberto-Bosques-Volkshochschule Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg represents a tradition of artistic and dedicated photography that spans more than 40 years.
In the project class of Klaus W.Eisenlohr and over one year the participants dealt with the topic of their own perspective on social, political and personal situations through photography. The title “Auf Sichtweite” is itself an indication that this group exhibition is not about a detached look at reality, but rather about personal, close views on subjective realities. The works of ten photographers reflect the relationship between photographer and photographed reality in different ways.
The final project results are presented in the listed building Bikini-Haus with a collected group exhibition that was developed together by the participants and will be discussed in guided tours and lectures.
With works by:
Maren Baldeweg, Klaus W. Eisenlohr, Elena Giampaoli, Kordula Horn, Winfried König, Monika Lache, Gerald Leitner, Fernanda León, Sebastian Schmidt, Annabell Sievert
