Berlin, late summer 2021. We find ourselves at the end of a seemingly endless idle. How long the uncertainty will actually last is unclear. And yet somehow, somewhere beyond the pandemic nadir, one feels that we have arrived.
The opening of the last final exhibition was almost a year ago. Then: months of standstill. What remained was the art. Supposedly irrelevant to the system and secondary, it steadfastly proved itself as a place of refuge and brought forth from hiding another graduating generation that is now striving toward the vague light on the horizon.
