The group exhibition »True Pictures? From Document to Concept. Positions of Contemporary Photography from the USA« at Museum für Photographie Braunschweig is the first of an exhibition series in collaboration with Sprengel Museum Hannover and Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg presenting an overview on contemporary photography from Canada and the USA from September 2021 – April 2022.

Works by Erica Baum, Owen Gump, Ingeborg Gerdes, Rebecca Hackemann and Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili can be seen at Museum für Photographie Braunschweig. They reveal references to important artistic developments in North American photography in the 20th Century arriving at new content and individual visual languages in the 21st century.
