»Illusionary Observations«

Daniela Comani | Kata Geibl | Sanna Kannisto

Curated by Barbara Hofmann-Johnson, Director, Museum für Photographie Braunschweig

Featuring the photographic work of three international artists of different generations – Daniela Comani, Kata Geibl, and Sanna Kannisto – the exhibition »Illusionary Observations« (Illusionen der Beobachtung) will present concepts that reference sociological, empirical, academic or scientific themes and models of imageries turning these into individual, illusionist pictorial worlds. We are reminded of models ranging from the representation of identity, urbanism, nature and science in order not to encouter objectifying, but rather artistic interpretations.

Further infos about the exhibition are only available in German here on PiB.
