Quiet images as fragments of a language of love for the present. An interior with headless motorcycle helmets in a homemade hut. A turtle in a pile of plastic rubbish, all of it white, arranged into a sculptural still in the white asepsis of the studio. A German hunting lodge in the shadow of the morning sun, looking out onto a frost-covered field. Smoke rising from a lipstick cap belonging to an unknown neighbour in Alamogordo. Upside-down, leaning out of a rubbish bin in the intoxication of the night. Climbing endless stairs in our dreams, pursued by masqueraded ghosts.

Finding one’s identity, investigating the role of the sexes in various cultures and societies, the search for happiness and an exploration of one’s own depression – this is the spectrum of projects completed by students in photo design at the Lette Verein Berlin. The fleeting moment in a discourse with the directed gaze.
