Workshop
»Urban photography Berlin«
Thomas Kutschker
The Lette-Akademie offers a new course on „Urban photography“ with a conceptual approach and practical tasks. It is directed by the award-winning photographer and filmmaker Thomas Kutschker.
The varied history of the city and street photography as well as the own perception of the metropolitan area of Berlin are the basis for the works, that may emerge in this workshop. In contrast to a guided city walk, participants approach the subject first by research and theoretical discussion of historical views of the city. On this basis, specific perspectives on the city are developed and implemented on concrete tasks. From the conception to the final presentation of the individual photographic projects, the participants will get technical, contentual and aesthetic suggestions.
5 days in the Berlin summer holidays,
