Workshop

»Photostory – tell your stories in pictures«

Erol Gurian

This workshop with the well-known photojournalist Erol Gurian is about how to find themes and realize them photographically.

After a theoretical introduction to photojournalism with examples of expressive photography, the participants will learn everything about the language and composition of pictures, introduction to photo-reporting, »LIFE-Formula«, dramaturgy and storytelling and will develop their own personal story. Whether it is PR-photos, photo reportage or travel reports, with the learned skills they will be able to realize meaningful and interesting photo stories. Support is given by individual advice on progress and image selection. The course ends with a presentation and review of the photostories.

4 days in the Berlin summer holidays,
Thursday and Friday, 5 – 8:30 pm
Saturday 10am – 1:30 pm
Sunday 10am – 2:30 pm

Requirements:
An own laptop is necessary, as well as a (test) version of Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, or alternatively IRFANVIEW.

Bilingual teaching possible (English/German)
