»MAKE it HOME«
Göran Gnaudschun, Andy Heller, Oliver Krebs, Minna Rainio & Mark Roberts, Alec Soth, Juliane Zelwies
Curated by Andy Heller & Oliver Krebs
This exhibition shows contemporary photography and video works dealing with the subject of “being at home”.
Göran Gnaudschun, Andy Heller, Oliver Krebs, Minna Rainio & Mark Roberts, Alec Soth and Juliane Zelwies each investigate the appropriation of places – an issue of particular relevance in times of fundamental change. The loss of habitat, structural re-adjustment, and mass immigration do not make it easy for those seeking a new home. Home is not a given, we have to create it. It is an active process, through which we must liberate ourselves from our origins – be they geographic or cultural – to find our home once more.
With friendly support by Galerie Loock.
