Film Screening & Artist Talk
»Nous nous sommes tant aimés«
From the film series »Les Voyages Immobiles«
Presented by LesAssociés – with works by Hélène David, Joakim Eskildsen, Vincent Gouriou, Laura Lafon, Anne Leroy, Valentine Vermeil, Kai Wiedenhöfer
The French photo collective LesAssociés is pleased to present for the first time in Germany, their latest photographic film from the series “Les Voyages Immobiles”.
“Les Voyages Immobiles” is a photographic dialog in an original film format developed by the collective since 2014. Each film tackles a specific subject, bringing together and merging photographic series by different authors, along with literature reading, sound and music to craft a sensitive, immersive and complete approach.
The latest film “Nous nous sommes tant aimés”, made in 2019, explores the meaning of Freedom. The film mixes the work of 7 photographers including Joakim Eskildsen (The Roma Journeys), Kai Wiedenhöfer (Wall on Wall) and Anne Leroy (I am not dead. The family is fine).
The film projection (52 min.) will be followed by an artist talk at 9 pm – held in German and French – with Joakim Eskildsen, Kai Wiedenhöfer and from the Collective LesAssociés Sebastien Sindeu & Alexandre Dupeyron.
Concluding the evening is the Chérie Chérie dj Set 100% Frenchy.
