Inka & Niclas focus on contemporary perceptions of nature in photography and the accompanying stylization of landscape. The luminous, utopian landscapes in their works speak to the beholder’s experience, conveying a sense of beauty and the visual culture associated with it. In the photographic image, we experience nature and affirm our own existence.
The award-winning artist duo Inka (1985, Finland) and Niclas (1984, Sweden) Lindergård have been working together since 2007, mainly with photo-based art. They live in Stockholm, Sweden.
Inka & Niclas fokussieren auf zeitgenössische Wahrnehmungsprozesse von Natur in der Fotografie und die damit einhergehende Stilisierung von Landschaft. Die leuchtenden utopischen Landschaften in ihren Arbeiten sprechen die Erfahrung der Betrachtenden an und zeigen die Schönheit wie die damit verbundene visuelle Kultur. Im fotografischen Bild erleben wir die Natur und bestätigen unsere eigene Existenz.
Das preisgekrönte Künstlerduo Inka (1985, Finnland) und Niclas (1984, Schweden) Lindergård arbeitet seit 2007 zusammen, vor allem mit fotobasierter Kunst. Sie leben in Stockholm, Schweden.
