The Haus am Kleistpark presents the works of the award winners from 2020 and 2022 in the exhibition “Documentary Photography Awards 13/14 of the Wüstenrot Foundation”. The Documentary Photography Award of the Wüstenrot Foundation is the most important award of its kind in Germany and honours photographers who deal with topics of the real world and redefine the representational functions of photography using contemporary means. The exhibition shows a wide range of photographic visual languages and thematic focal points.
Das Haus am Kleistpark präsentiert mit der Ausstellung „Dokumentarfotografie Förderpreise 13/14 der Wüstenrot Stiftung“ die Arbeiten der Preisträger_innen aus den Jahren 2020 bzw. 2022. Der Dokumentarfotografie Förderpreis der Wüstenrot Stiftung ist die bedeutendste Auszeichnung dieser Art in Deutschland und würdigt Fotograf_innen, die sich mit Themen der realen Lebenswelt beschäftigen und mit zeitgenössischen Mitteln die Repräsentationsfunktionen der Fotografie neu definieren. Die Ausstellung zeigt eine große Bandbreite an fotografischen Bildsprachen und thematischen Schwerpunkten.
