Group Exhibition & Mini-Fotomarathon
»Fotomarathon Berlin | Yesterday was today«
Group show + Mini-Fotomarathon
This year’s autumm Mini-Fotomarathon will take place on October 13th in the Berlin Wall Memorial Visitor Center, as part of the selected events of EMOP Berlin — EUROPEAN MONTH OF PHOTOGRAPHY 2018.
We will also be opening the group exhibition “Yesterday was today” with photos of the June Fotomarathon in Berlin, both by participants and – for the first time – by members of the Fotomarathon Team. Commemorating the Berlin Fotomarathon’s 20th anniversary, we will also be displaying photos taken by members of Fotomarathon teams in other cities throughout Germany, who have taken up the challenge of photographing the Berlin themes. Under this year’s theme “Yesterday was today” participants have intepreted 12 topics evoking the mood and experiences of living in Germany and Berlin during the last 60 years, going through the end of the war, the cold war, the divided country, revolution, rebellion and change.
There are only 50 places available for the Mini-Fotomarathon. There will also be tickets available during the day. Registration is open online via www.fotomarathon.de
