Presenting the results of the 2025 World Press Photo Contest, the exhibition at the Freundeskreis Willy-Brandt-Haus in Berlin showcases the best and most important photojournalism and documentary photography of the last year. The World Press Photo 2025 competition is divided into six regions: Africa, Asia-Pacific and Oceania, Europe, North and Central America, South America, and West, Central and South Asia. The winners were chosen by an independent jury made of 31 professionals from around the world who reviewed more than 59,320 photographs entered by 3,778 photographers from 141 countries.
The respective projects underline the relevance of photojournalism and documentary photography to promote dialogue, inspire action and ensure deeper understanding.

Mirja Linnekugel, die Künstlerische Leiterin der Hauses, bietet den Besucher:innen die Gelegenheit, in entspannter Atmosphäre einen tieferen Einblick in die gezeigten Werke zu bekommen. Eintritt frei | ohne Anmeldung | Ausweis erforderlich.
Anpassung der Zutrittsregelungen im Willy-Brandt-Haus: Besucher:innen dürfen ab sofort im Willy-Brandt-Haus keine Taschen, Rucksäcke oder Koffer mitführen, die die Maße 26 cm x 40 cm x 16 cm überschreiten.
