About the exhibition:
»Unfinished Stories« is an exhibition at FOTOGALERIE Friedrichshain in Berlin showcasing a decade of documentary work by photographer Jonathan Rashad. Rashad’s courageous photography covers the events of the Egyptian revolution of 2011 up until the controversial Egyptian elections of 2013, the impact of Ethiopia’s 2015 nutritional program on a population whose growth had been stunted by malnutrition for decades, the persistence of racial segregation in the ostensibly post-apartheid climate of South Africa (2016), and the struggle of farmers caught between Egypt and Ethiopia’s ongoing dispute over the waters of the Nile (2015-2018).
‘Unfinished Stories’ is Rashad’s first solo exhibition in Europe.
