Workshop
»How to finalize your project:
working on your editing«
Marie Sordat
Every photographer knows that difficult part of the work: how to choose the relevant images, how to coordinate them, and particularly, for what type of project or support? Bring one/several series in progress or already finished projects and learn how to get the best out of it.
Born in France in 1976, Marie Sordat lives and works in Belgium. Since 2004, her works have been exhibited in museums, galleries and festivals around the world. In 2012, her images enter the Bibliothèque nationale de France & obtain the Jury’s selection of the Virginia Price. Images published a.o. by Yellow Now (“Empire”, 2015), in catalogues by Lannoo & Filigranes. Represented by Box Galerie, she teaches photography at INSAS, and has been in the jury for photography schools. As an independent curator, she directed exhibitions & catalogues for ISELP in 2012, and recently launched the exhibition Eyes Wild Open at Le Botanique in Brussels.
