Description
With his photographs and artistic interventions Sasha Kurmaz draws our attention to the urban public space. He explores this space and documents how the human being starts a dialog with the urban surrounding. A dialog that develops despite and against any urban planning, commercial interests and aesthetic conventions. The public space is appropriated in an imperfect and ironic manner by the protagonists of his images. Like field studies Sasha Kurmaz records visual data showing us how architecture and objects are altered by this dialog in public space.
