Das Giftraum is the exhibition space inside the bar Das Gift. Hosting exhibitions by Berlin based artists since 2011. With grey walls + a black floor.

Das Gift is an old Berliner style Eck Kneipe which was taken over by a Scottish couple; one a musician and the other an artist. It was important to them to keep the character of the bar as it was, complete with the 80s wooden bar, full size tree & taxidermy birds built installed by previous owners.
The idea was just really to freshen the place up with an improved selection of drinks, including ales from Scotland and special spirits and cocktails, as well as having quick and friendly service. We like to play an interesting music selection from new as well as established artists, and regularly host after show parties. We have a wonderful jukebox which holds playlists which have been very kindly created by a whole host of musicians, artists, novelists, comedians and directors, inlcuding Robert Smith from The Cure, Pavement, The Smiths, Interpol, Errors, Mogwai, Irvine Welsh, Susan Phillipz and many more…
