Patrick Bienert & Max von Gumppenberg
The photographic series shows a group of young people from Ukraine. They are part of a subculture which emerged from the nightlife scene in Kiev after the revolution of 2014. Stuck between a political system and the search for their own identity they create a space of freedom for themselves.
Since 2007 Patrick Bienert and Max von Gumppenberg are working together, they realized editorials for Another Magazine, Dazed & Confused and Vogue Italia as well as campaigns for Givenchy, Lanvin, and Valentino, amongst other.
