Gavin Evans
His photographs of David Bowie, that show the musician’s vulnerability, are legendary. Being made in 1995, multiple copies have been created. Bowie even chose a print for his studio.
At Capitis, Gavin Evans will be showing his best portraits, including portraits of Nick Cave, Iggy Pop, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Gary Oldman und Juliette Binoche, from the years of working for Rolling Stone, The Guardian and Paris Match, that ruthlessly and truly practice the motto “One must push the boundaries.”
