Sina Niemeyer

In her talk Sina Niemeyer will give an insight into her working methods of her project ‚Für mich.’ In 2016 she made a book which deals with her own experiences of child sexual abuse. Besides photography she used family archive pictures, writing, documents and objects. The book was published in 2018 with Ceiba Editions. Shortly after, Sina added a video that processes a conversation with the perpetrator. The same year she was selected as one of the most promising newcomers in photography by ‚gute aussichten’. Her project has been shown worldwide and Sina regularly speaks at photofestivals and conferences. Currently Sina lives in Schöneiche just a little bit outside of Berlin.
