The first Artist Talk in the 2nd ‘Beyond the Ring’ series will be held by Rafa Raigón, who will be introducing his bookwork, ‘The Vigilantes’.
In Andalusia, every city and every village has its Great week, its big party: ‘La Feria’! And every worthy fair has its stallholders, its families with children and its party animals, its Andalusian gentlemen on horseback and its hippies. And most importantly, its Marquees and its guard marquees! They are the great mystery of the fair: nobody has seen the guards, no one knows them. They live in a parallel universe – the underworld of the fairground!
‘Beyond the Ring‘ is an informal set of artists talks/presentations/performances by international artists based in Berlin and visiting artists passing through. They will take place in a studio in Walterstr. 30, Neukoelln. ‘Beyond the Ring’ is there to provide the opportunity for people to meet and share their thoughts, ideas and work. If you’re interested in joining in, you will see that there is life Beyond the Ring in Berlin.
