Cordia Schlegelmilch entdeckt in ihren Dokumentationen architektonischer Bauverläufe Momente unbewusster Choreografien, die – aus den jeweiligen Arbeitsprozessen hervorgehend – von den abgebildeten Akteuren wie in einem imaginären Bühnenstück vor unterschiedlichen Kulissen und Bühnenbildern zur Aufführung gebracht werden. Gezeigt werden 45, teilweise großformatige, Fotografien, die sie unter ganz eigenem Blickwinkel während ihrer Auftragsfotografie langjähriger Bau- und Restaurierungsvorhaben gemacht hat, darunter St. Marien am Behnitz (Berlin-Spandau), Taut-Haus am Engelbecken, Umnutzungen von Tuchfabriken in Wittstock Dosse, Wasserschloß Fürstlich Drehna, Krematorium Berlin Wedding (jetzt silent green), Fichtebunker (jetzt: circlehouse).
Zur Ausstellung erscheint im Bübül Verlag das Kunstbuch „Bühne Bau – Gespräch mit Häusern – Fotografien 2002-2017“, das bei der Vernissage präsentiert wird.
