Solo Exhibitions & Artist Talk
The exhibition CHAUSSEESTRASSE UND ANDERE by photographer André Kirchner shows the ever changing faces of the city of Berlin between 1995 and 2015. Kirchner’s pictures present the interplay between buildings, urban spaces and light. They catch the city in its constant change in form of sequences, developments of streets and descriptions of places.
With the opening of CHAUSSEESTRASSE UND ANDERE Galerie 36 launches its pop-up venue “pop-up 36”, where selected photographs from this series will be presented.
In the framework of the vernissage André Kirchner will introduce his position in urban photography in discussion with Ines Hahn, curator of the Photographic Collection at Stadtmuseum Berlin.
Simultaneously, the exhibition takes place at André Kirchner’s studio in Schöneberg:
