About PiB

»PiB — Photography in Berlin« is a curated, bilingual (en/de) platform for fine art & documentary photography in Berlin.

PiB presents selected highlights mainly from Berlin’s vibrant photography scene – here on its website, in the weekly E-Newsletter, and in the bi-monthly published print issue, the PiB Guide – to a continually growing, international audience of photography enthusiasts.

PiB welcomes collaborations & (media) partnerships – please feel free to get in touch.

Submissions in order to present your own exhibition/event/publication or photography related service/product via PiB are welcome anytime.

PiB was founded in spring 2015 by Julia Schiller, motivated by her personal interest in fine art photography. Short bio: After completing her master in design-, media- & communication management (M.A.) in Munich in 2002, she moved to Athens/Greece for a while, where she was employed as a creative director in advertising. In 2006 she found a new home in Berlin and – besides currently working full-time on PiB – makes a living as a freelance art director, photographer and curator, based in Berlin-Köpenick. Julia is a member of SALOON Berlin – a network for women of Berlin’s art scene.
